Peter Davies Managing Director

A proud Welshman with a passion for people, adventure, and making a positive impact, Peter brings a wealth of experience and leadership to Blitzer Group.

With over 23 years of service in the Royal Logistic Corps, Peter developed resilience, adaptability, and a deep commitment to teamwork. His expertise in problem-solving and resource management has given him a strong foundation in efficiency and operational excellence—values that now drive his approach to business.

As Managing Director of Blitzer Group, Peter applies his military-honed skills to ensure operational excellence, safety, and strong client relationships. Under his leadership, the company continues to uphold the highest industry standards, with its recent Safe Contractor accreditation standing as a testament to this commitment.

Beyond business, Peter is an adventurer at heart. He has completed the Marathon des Sables, trekked the Sahara Desert, scaled the Atlas Mountains, reached Everest Base Camp, explored Wadi Rum, and retraced the Death March route in Borneo all for charity. His drive to push boundaries and take on new challenges extends into every aspect of his life.

When he’s not growing the business or planning his next adventure, Peter enjoys spending time with family and friends, cheering on Wales and the Ospreys, and connecting with like-minded individuals.

Mark Hobbs Director

Mark Hobbs is an experienced business leader with a strong background in property investment, property management, business development and strategic growth. His career began in the Royal Air Force working in various locations across Europe and the Middle East where he developed the discipline and leadership skills that have defined his professional journey.

During his time in the RAF Mark also played rugby—a passion he still holds today. As the driving force behind StudentDigz, Mark has spent over two decades transforming student accommodation in Swansea to become one of the largest independent student letting agents in Swansea. Through exceptional property management and expert HMO advice he has set new benchmarks for quality student living, making StudentDigz a trusted name in the industry.

In 2011, Mark co-founded Gum Blitzer which has since evolved into Blitzer Group. His strategic focus on business expansion and operational excellence has been key to growing the company’s market presence. Now as a Director of both Blitzer Group and StudentDigz, Mark continues to drive innovation and success in both the property and service sectors.

Outside of work Mark enjoys traveling with his family, embracing new experiences and maintaining his lifelong connection to rugby.
